Tanqueray’s Flor de Sevilla was already the most approachable bottle in their range, so the 0.0% version had a head start: bitter Seville orange is a flavour that survives dealcoholisation better than juniper does. The nose is all marmalade and orange blossom, and with a decent tonic and a wedge of orange it makes a spritz-style serve that tastes far more grown-up than its 6 calories per measure suggest.
Drunk neat it is thinner than the 41.3% original — no surprise — so treat it as a mixer drink, not a sipper. As alcohol-free gins go, this is one of the two or three we would actually re-buy.

Serve over ice with a premium tonic and a wedge of fresh orange to lean into the marmalade notes — because it’s thinner-bodied than the 41.3% original, a good tonic does more of the work here than it would with a full-strength gin. Store the bottle upright at room temperature once opened; there’s no alcohol to act as a preservative, but the sugar and acidity keep it stable for several months.

If you’ve tried other AF gins and found the botanicals fade fast, Flor de Sevilla holds up better than most because the citrus flavour is naturally robust rather than relying purely on juniper, which tends to be the first note to disappear when alcohol is removed.
